We designed and created a sound installation that brought old audio equipment back to life using recordings of the Royal Exchange audiences to weave a tapestry of stories together from their memories and thoughts about theatre.

BJÖRK at MoMA

Creative direction for Björk’s retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. We delivered an interactive, augmented audio experience which allowed museum visitors to sonically explore Björk’s 7 previous albums by physically exploring a space in the museum.

We created an interactive music video using binaural surround sound. Microsoft wanted to capture the sound in binaural using the Lumia 930 for all the audio recording. We provided technical direction, prototyping, testing, field recordings and sound design. click for binaural music video

S3A

The goal of S3A is to deliver a step-change in the quality of audio consumed by the general public. We produced the audio content to create their first 3D audio drama, demonstrated at the BBC Sound Now and Next conference in May 2015.

Sexology

We produced the Sexology Season Podcasts for Wellcome Trust, recorded at a series of events across Manchester. An informative and provocative series featuring audience discussions and debates, including ‘Why be Normal?’ and ‘The Science behind Sex’.

Sound of the Space

Set up by the BBC and Arts Council England, The Space funds art that uses technology to push the boundaries of creative expression. We were commissioned to design the sound for the space website, working with Matthew Herbert we made an ever evolving sound scape.

When Elvis Met the Beatles

Radio 2 marks the 50th anniversary of a momentous meeting between Elvis Presley and the young pretenders of pop, The Beatles. Working with Producer Polly Thomas and Somethin Else Productions, the drama and music was recorded and mixed by Naked Productions.

Futureworlds

Futureworlds: 24 hours in the dark. 24 young script writers from aged 7, imagine their vision for a future society; and the place they believe young people should occupy in a future world. Each play explores the writers vision of 2020. A one hour audio experience held at the Royal Exchange.
